Most companies utilize their "About" page to explain the merits of their founder. "She pulled herself up by her bootstraps and landed atop the world." Not so Monica Taver. She had no bootstraps; she had no boots. She learned to cook on a flat rock in the Argentinian wilds. It's a miracle her children could eat her burnt offerings. It's a miracle they survived. But they did eat and well. Her daughter Rosy is now our executive chef in charge of quality control; a job she took on as soon as she could speak. Not surprisingly her first word was "no!"
